I had to get creative with my coupons because of the whole “only 5 coupons per like item/only two of those can be printed” rule, but I fortunately still managed to get a couple of gallons of milk plus qualifying items for basically $1.20 each. I have enough coupons to make another trip or two, so I’m going to get some for my sisters.
I also received a $2.00/5 General Mills Cereals Catalina, I’m guessing for buying four boxes of cereal.

Jacob…is that a new policy for all Dillons? I am trying to keep things straight. Policies have changed so much since i started couponing last spring. I just used 10 coupons for free wipes this week and didn’t have a problem here in Wichita.
Sheri says
Interesting that your price for turkeys is less than our local ad. Here (KS side), the frozen turkey is .79/lb
Jacob B. says
Kelly, it is. Apparently it has been in place for a month now and was done in response to extreme couponers. I thought it might just be my store but I’ve seen others mention the new change, too.
From what I was told, you can use up to five coupons per like item (so if you have seven coupons for Chex Mix but they are two different types of coupons, tough. You have to pick five to use, even if they are technicallt different).
Of those five, you can use them in the following combinations: 1.) Five newspaper coupons, or 2.) Three newspaper coupons and two Internet-printed coupons.
They pushed the fact that only two Internet-printed coupons were allowed per item. Which is why I now have to make more than one trip this week. 🙂

BTW, I’m in Kansas City, KS, and the store I shop (the only one close) is in Leavenworth, KS. It could just be my store, or maybe you got lucky and someone didn’t enforce it, but I’ve talked to a few different employees at different times and this is what I’ve been told.
Hopefully for you this isn’t the case and you can still do what you do at your store. For me, I first found out when I had an awesome list built of $150 worth of stuff for about $40, and they pulled me aside at the checkout (stopping me from using the self-checkout machine) to let me know of the change.

Thank you for mentioning the Aldi prices! That is very helpful when I’m building my shopping list!
