Was anyone else able to print the Hefty $0.55/1 off Facebook more than twice? It kept letting me refresh and it would keep printing everytime. I guess this shouldn’t be an issue when I take them all to the register at once, right? But keeping them in groups of 4 like coupons per checkout like the coupon reads, of course.
Megan says
Is there a limit on how many of the 10 item deals u can do?
Fritzie says
You’ll need to check with your local Dillons and see if they have any limits. I know in the past, I usually did 30 items in one transaction and never had any issues (took off a total of $5.00 3x).
ShePug says
OK, so the deal on the Fiber One chewy bars, brownies, etc., is EVEN HOTTER: I don’t know when it ends, but there is currently a Catalina deal on these…SO, when you choose them as part of the buy-10-get-$5 deal, the “final cost” is $1.99. Most of the coupons, when doubled, take an extra $1 off, for a final price of close to $1. The Catalina deal: When you buy 5 Fiber One items, you get a $3 Catalina printed at the register…$2 for all 5 items = $.40 / box??!!??!! Yes, it happened to me! 🙂 Good luck couponers! (There are Catalina rewards for fewer items as well, but the best value is at the purchase of 5 items).
Fritzie says
Awesome, I’ll update my post. Thanks! 🙂
Stacey says
The General Mills bars catalina also includes Nature valley bars (Protein chewy bars and Granola thins also!). I got a print out on this, so I purchased 5 Protein and a mix of 5 Protein/nature valley bars and received 2 $3 cats (separate transactions). I’m confused—how would these be free after $3 cat and 5 $.50/1 coupons? The math isn’t working out for me. I get $1.95 for 5 boxes.
Also, there is a $1/2 Savings star coupon on the Pillsbury cookies, and ecoupons on cellfire for the Pillsbury coupons. I’d use the ecoupon and save the ink!
Fritzie says
You’re absolutely right, it’s not free, apparently I can’t add today. LOL 🙂 Thanks for catching my mistake, I fixed my post. *steps away from computer to go get a cup of coffee* 😉
Jenn says
When I bought the Cottonelle for $5.99 when you buy 10, I recieved a $1 off Cottonelle coupon. The actually applied it to my current purchase and was able to get the Cottonelle for $4.99.
Jessi A says
Will this mega event last 2 weeks?
ShePug says
I’m sure Fritzie is the expert, but my observation is that most of their sales seem to repeat for a second week, and this if the first week of this newest sale. My guess is most stuff this week will be featured again next week, (and I have ordered a few coupons off of eBay hoping that’s true!)
Jessi A says
That is what I am assuming also! I live 50 miles away and need to make sure I am planning my trip to make the most of it!!
Krysitn says
A friend of mine went to dillons today with a pile of coupons, most coming from internet, and was told she was only allowed to use 2 internet printed coupons per transaction! They said this was a new policy that cashiers had to sign on yesterday but there were no signs anywhere in the store and I tried looking all over dillons site and on internet for new policy but didn’t find anything. Have you heard anything about a policy change??@!
Fritzie says
No I haven’t, which store (location) was this?
Krystin says
It’s in Wichita, KS. Your blog has the best dillons deals
I have found. Thanks
Jacob B. says
The Leavenworth Dillions in Kansas has had the same policy for about six months. Only two Internet coupons per like item, and only five coupons total (5 newspaper or 3 newspaper/2 Internet) per like item.
Meaning if you have three Chex Mix coupons for. 55 off and three for. 60 off, it doesn’t matter that the coupons are different… One coupon can’t be used because they’re all for Chex Mix.
When this happened, I was immediately told by them befkre asking to not bother looking for the policy change on the site because “it changes so much they don’t bother posting it”. I got the impression they were gerring yelled at a LOT that day and were anticipating problems over it.
Fritzie says
I have asked corporate several times about the coupon policy and they continue to state the same generic answer that while “the corporate wide coupon policy has not changed, it is up to the discretion of the store manager of each store to limit coupons however they see fit.”
Jacob B. says
It was funny when they told me about the policy change because the cashier started to say it was in response to extreme couponing, then seemed to catch herself when she realized that was exactly what I was doing. 😉
