Hello! I’m Tina from Savings Corner and I am also new to Bloggy Moms. I am a new follower and would love for you to check out my site too! Thanks!
http://www.savingscorner.org/
Also, I am from NE TN and also post for various stores and wanted to provide my readers additional links to grocery store deals that aren’t in my region. I would like to link up to your deals for Dillon’s. Just let me know if that is ok. Thanks!
Quick question. Is the $4 catalina the limit per whole order? Do I need to make multiple trips through the line purchasing only 4 boxes of cereal at a time? Thanks for all your help saving money! ๐
Hi Mare,
Well, I’m afraid I don’t have a cut & dry answer for you. I have heard that sometimes multiple catalinas will print out and sometimes they will not. So, I called Catalina Marketing myself just now (877-210-1917) to try to clarify this and it didn’t happen. The person I spoke to said it depended on the catalina promotion and he had no way of checking on a particular catalina. He said to check with the store promoting the catalina. I told him that the stores often don’t post information about catalinas, but he just didn’t have much of a response for that. ๐ So, the answer is I don’t know. If anyone out there has done this General Mills catalina in the past & has tried it multiple times in one transaction, let me know, I’ll be glad to post. And if I hear anything, I’ll give you an update. ๐
Hi Tina, you bet! I sent you an email. ๐
I am wondering if you can use manufacterer’s coupons and e-coupons combined? I’m new to shopping Dillons and still not sure how it all works.
Hi Doreen, Yes, you can use both together. ๐
I agree with Fritzie on the Catalina deals .. no cut and dry answer. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. So, I never take any chances. I just do separate transactions so that I am sure to get them.
Thanks, ladies! I guess I’ll play it safe and just keep keep going through the line. At least I’ll be able to use my catalina’s right away! ๐
I just got back from Dillons. I purchased 14 boxes of GM cereal in one transaction (yep- the kids were getting wrestless) and recieved 2, $4 catalina’s. I also purchased 4 additional GM cereals in a separate transaction and recieved no $4 catalina. Maybe it’s only certain boxes that give it to you? Anyway- just thought I would pass it on!
Thanks for the update Mare! ๐ And yes, it is for only certain GM Cereals, see the full list in my post above. You can always do a refund for the 4 boxes of cereal you didn’t get the catalina for & try again (if you can get in another trip before the sale goes off).
I just purchased 4 of the cereals on the list for the $4 catalina, and it didn’t print me off a catalina ๐ I wonder if it’s just certain stores, but probably no way of knowing for sure w/o asking the store.
Hi Emily! Unfortunately, the catalina not printing when it is supposed to seems to be a fairly common issue. On the positive side though, Catalina Marketing is quick to fix the issue. I’ve had to call a couple times and both times they’ve mailed me my catalina within a couple weeks with no issues. Have your receipt handy and call them at 1-877-210-1917 or you can also email them HERE.
Thanks, Fritzie! I guess I should learn how to read the fine print, hu? ๐
I guess one box of cereal I got was bigger than the size that was listed on your list, so that’s probably why it didn’t work, darn!!
Oh well, I still thank you for posting all the deals, has helps me TONS!!
