Note: Keep in mind with all of these deals it is always a good idea to call ahead of time to confirm that your local restaurant is participating in an offer.
Restaurant Freebies
Starbucks– Starbucks will be giving out free tall brewed coffees to veterans, active duty military, and their spouses on Veterans Day.
Applebee’s – at participating Applebee”s on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, Veterans can get a free meal. You’ll be able to choose a meal from a limited Veterans Day menu that includes items like steak, cheeseburgers, chicken tenders, and lots more. View the list of menu items here.
Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt– To recognize and honor our American servicemen and women, Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt will offer all retired and active-duty military personnel a free cup of froyo, up to 11 ounces, on Veteran’s Day, Nov. 11. To claim the offer, customers should provide proof of military service, such as a military ID card, uniform photo, honors, badges, or come dressed in their military uniform. In addition, as part of its “Year of the Flavor” campaign, Orange Leaf is introducing its new, limited-time flavor, Pumpkin Spice Latte, for the month of November.
On the Border– On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina is saying “Thank You” more than 150 ways this Veterans Day, as all veterans and active duty military will receive, for FREE, OTB’s “Create Your Own Combo menu,” the restaurant’s best-seller featuring more than 150 possible meal combinations, on Tuesday, November 11, 2014.
Olive Garden – active-duty military and military veterans who provide proof of service on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 will get a free meal. Veterans can choose a free entrée from a special menu of Olive Garden’s seven most popular items. All of these entrees come with freshly baked garlic bread sticks and a choice of unlimited soup or salad.
Chili’s– show proof of military service if you are a veteran or on active military duty to get your Veterans Day free meal on November 11th, 2014.
Outback Steakhouse– Free Bloomin’ Onion and beverage on Veteran’s Day with proof of service. Outback Steakhouse is also giving out a military discount of 15% off the total check November 12 to December 31, 2014.
Shooney’s – Free All American Burger on November 11th, 2014. This is for veterans as well as active duty military while supplies last. Proof of military service is required and for dine-in only. Go here to find a Shooney’s near you.
Texas Roadhouse– Free lunch from your choice off of the Veteran’s lunch menu. Includes your choice of steak, country fried chicken, country fried sirloin, pulled pork, pork chop, cheeseburger, BBQ chicken sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, grilled chicken salad, or chicken critter salad plus your choice of sides plus, a free coca-cola product, tea, or coffee. Bring in a military ID, Veterans Affairs card, or Discharge papers for proof of service. Dine in only.
Denny’s – Come in on 11/11/14 from 5AM- Noon to build your own Free Grand Slam. Available to all active, non-active, and retired military personnel.
Max & Erma’s – Participating locations will be offering the Best Cheeseburger in America combo which includes choice of Tortilla Soup or side House Salad, a Cheeseburger and french fries, and a fresh-baked chocolate chip cookie for dessert. Dine in only with proof of military service. Check your local Max & Erma’s to see if they are participating.

Cheeseburger in Paradise– The tropical bar and grill chain is honoring veterans by extending a complimentary All-American Burger with fries to active and retired military personnel in appreciation of their courage and commitment to the well-being of the country. To take advantage of this dine in offer, guests must make a drink purchase of $1.99 or more and present any of the following forms of identification when ordering:

Great Clips– On Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014, customers who come in for a haircut at any U.S. Great Clips salon will receive a free haircut card to give to an active, inactive or retired military member of any branch, including the National Guard. Military members can also come in on Veterans Day for a free haircut or to pick up a free haircut card to use, with proof of military service, through Dec. 31, 2014. This is not a one day freebie. The free haircut cards are good for 51 days–giving this promotion more longevity than most honoring our veterans.
National Parks– This freebie is in honor of Veterans Day but available for everyone in the military or not. Over 100 national parks will waive admission fees on November 11, 2014 in honor of Veterans Day. View a list by state here.
Knott’s Berry Farm– Free admission to all U.S. veterans, retired and active military personnel and one guest. Up to six additional tickets may be purchased at Knott’s Ticket Booths for only $24 each from November 2 through 21 and for $29 each from November 22 through January 4. Military personnel may also purchase additional tickets at a participating local Military ticket office. U.S. veterans, retired and active military personnel must present military ID or proof of U.S. military service at Knott’s ticket booths to receive the complimentary tickets. Veteran, retired and active military personnel must be present.
Lowe’s – Get a 10% military discount for current, retired, and VA members and to their immediate family with proof.
