For those not familiar with Target coupons, you are missing out! Target has printable coupons which can be stacked with Manufacturer’s coupons for even more savings. You can print them directly from Target’s site HERE or from Organic Grocery Deal’s nifty Target coupon generator HERE. I’ve heard reports that some people have trouble with Target taking different coupons, it is their policy to accept both their coupons along with manufacturer’s coupons. They now have an Official Coupon Policy HERE and they’ve also updated their Price Matching Policy (again!) HERE. Just wanted to let you know that I tried to use the $1.00 coupons on the $0.97 trial size items and the cashier would not let me. She told me that the coupon value could not exceed the price of the product.
In cases like that, it’s good to have Target’s coupon policy from HERE printed out. Part of the policy states “Coupon amount may be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied.” So, what the cashier should have done was accepted your coupon and adjusted the amount of the coupon down to $0.97.
