One of the many things I love about Dillons is their Mega Event Sales and this week’s was an especially good one in my opinion! All prices below are after the Mega Event Sale discount (purchase any 10 participating items, get $5.00 off). I purchased a total of 40 Mega Event items and all (4) $5.00 discounts came off. I’m always so relieved after the discounts came off knowing that I counted correctly. 😉

  • 13 bottles of Fuze $0.49* ea., Used 13 $0.75/1 tearpad coupons (doubled to $1.00, they expired 9/30, but my Dillons accepts expired coupons up to 14 days after the expiration date)
  • 4 bottles of Coke Zero $0.88* ea., Used 3 $1.00 tearpad coupons & a B3G1Free tearpad coupon, cashier took $0.88 off that one
  • 10 Philadelphia Whipped Cream Cheese $0.88*, Used 2 $5.00/5 coupons from HERE
  • Johnsonville Summer Sausage 12 oz. $3.00, Used $0.55/1 coupon from HERE (doubled to $1.00)
  • 2 Wheat Thins $1.89*, Used $1.00/1 coupons from HERE
  • Dillons Milk 2% Gallon $2.66
  • 2 Oreos $2.19*, Used $1.00/1 HERE & Buy 1 Cookie & Gallon of Milk, get 1 Cookie Free HERE (took off $2.69), and Used $1.00/2 E-coupon HERE
  • 2 Planter’s Dry Roasted Peanuts 16 oz. $1.99* ea., Used 2 $1.00/1 IPs (no longer available), And when I purchased these, it also triggered the $1.00/2 E-coupon from HERE for $1.00 off 2 Planters Nut Bars
  • Kraft Miracle Whip 30 oz. $2.49, Used $0.50/1 IP (doubled, no longer available, there’s still a $1.00/1 coupon HERE), and $0.75/1 E-coupon from HERE

  • Velveeta 2 lb. $4.49*, Used $1.00/1 Dillons home mailer coupon
  • Final Cost $10.81 (The original cost without coupons & Mega Event Discounts would have been $111.02!!!) 🙂

    Good question! From what I’ve read, you can freeze cream cheese for about a month, but freezing cream cheese changes the texture of it. So, if you plan on using the cream cheese in a recipe it would be ok. But, if you plan on using it to say, spread on a bagel, it wouldn’t be very good.

    Personally, I shared my cream cheese haul with friends & family. To me, that’s one of the most fun things about couponing, is getting to share with others! 🙂
