I had quite the Walgreens adventure this week, my brain started hurting after my 2nd trip LOL! They are having their special 4 day sale with the $5 Register Reward with a $25 purchase through tomorrow, so I ended up going to 2 Walgreens locations yesterday. And my first Walgreens experience earlier in the week was CrAzY fun! I found a mistake on my 2nd Walgreens trip (not sure if it was them or me, pretty sure it was me though LOL), so I’ll be going back tomorrow.
This week so far I’ve also gotten 25 4×6 prints for $.25, a Free 8×10 photo and I’ll be picking up 20 Free 4×6 prints and a free Scrapbook page tomorrow. Lots of awesome photo deals this week. Thanks Walgreens!
Trip #1 8/18
So, I get to my Walgreens with the sole purpose of using a Register Reward that expired on that day. When I got there, my favorite cashier told me to PLEASE buy several of the Softsoaps (that were free with the RRs) because they had over-ordered and needed to sell them. So, of course, I said SURE! (Note that 1 of the Body Washes is not pictured, I gave 1 away before I got home and I’ll be giving the rest away shortly) Here’s how this trip went:

Used 1 $4.00 RR
Final Cost $.52 & got back $4.00 RR
2nd Transaction

So, the end result of all these transaction was:

And got back $32.00 in Register Rewards!
This was one of those trips where I should have been paying closer attention. Sometimes I just get to chatting & I distract myself LOL. I purchased 3 of the mailers that were on sale for $.49 each and this was one of those times I didn’t check my receipt. When I got home, I checked and saw that I was charged $1.50 for EACH mailer. I’m not sure if I just picked up the wrong mailers or I was charged incorrectly, so I’ll take the receipt and mailers back to the store with me tomorrow and see if I can get that fixed (I’m guessing I picked up the wrong mailers).

Final Cost $21.43, got back $19.00 in Register Rewards (this includes the $5.00 RR for spending more than $25, they count the total before coupons)
Plus, I should be able to get back a refund of around $3.00 once the mailer issue is fixed.
Update: I went back Saturday and got my money back for the mailer mistake ($3.27), so my adjusted total for the above trip is $18.16 and got back $19.00 in Register Rewards

Ok, my last trip was much more straightforward:

Final Cost $7.54, plus got back $12.00 in Register Rewards (Includes the $5.00 RR)
On the mailer you were overcharged above. They also overcharged me but the cashier went and looked and saw they all had a sticker price of .49cents so she adjusted it to 49cent. Think maybe they put the stickers on the wrong items.
I am coming to your site via the link you had on Southern Savers. Were you using the Soft Soap RR to buy additional Soft Soap? I thought you could use the RR for one item to buy the same again..Can you let me know how you worked that one?
Hi Caroline, welcome to Frugal Fritzie! No, I didn’t use a Soft Soap RR to buy an additional Soft Soap. They don’t roll, in other words, if you use a RR from a like item, a new RR won’t print out. I used a different $4.00 RR I had from the previous weeks (I think it was from the Vitamin Shampoo if I remember correctly).
