Hey I say a sign today saying that Aldi will be reopening on Oct. 22nd. Yay can’t wait!
Could you do a post about coupon ethics, shelf clearing, etc. for the lovely folks here in Joplin/WC/Carl area. Seems to be getting worse and is pretty frustrating to go in NEEDING something and not be able to get it. Especially the overage items. I may not need another pack of razors but that $2.00 overage may buy my family a meal for the evening. I just think everyone needs to keep in mind that most people coupon because they need to, but if your buying 50 of something that even costs $.25 each you can save some for the rest that NEED it. I don’t care about candy, non-essential items (there always seems to be enough of those items:) but dish soap, laundry soap, razors, shampoo, food, etc. Walgreens in WC seems to be the worst. I don’t even bother anymore because there 2 women that come in and take everything on Saturday night (the computers set around 8:00 or so is what I was told) or first thing Sunday morning.
K, sorry soap box! Thanks for everything you do!

Thanks for the update Mandi. 🙂 I cannot wait for them to reopen, I’m going to try to make it for their opening day, I just love their produce deals! And no problem, I understand your frustration when it comes to not being able to find items in stock. I haven’t been to the one in WC for quite a long time. I live in SW Joplin, so I don’t get that way very often & I hate to make that trip only to find them out of stock on everything. You might give the store on Maiden Lane a try. The last few times I’ve stopped in there, they’ve had limits set on some of the higher demand items so there’s at least a chance of getting some of those items.

Awesome I will give that one a try. We are actually moving that direction this weekend so that will be the best store for me anyway.
