Since the CVS in Joplin just opened up here in late September of this year, I just experienced my very first CVS Black Friday Shopping adventure. And I have to say, it was a fun and stress-free trip.

I went this morning armed with my list and was happy to find plenty of everything in stock. I broke my shopping trip into several transactions to maximize my savings. I’m glad I went this morning, because it was super slow at that time with very little waiting time. Keep in mind that if you do plan on doing a few transactions like I did, be mindful of other people in line behind you. It’s common courtesy to just do one transaction at a time, then to go to the end of the line and start over. I rarely do multiple transaction trips anymore, but when I do on occasions like for these awesome Black Friday deals, then I try to go when the traffic will be light.
Anyway, here’s a breakdown of the CVS Black Friday deals I snagged this morning. I started out with one $3 ECB (Extra Buck) and was pretty darn happy with the results. I have to say that compared to Walgreens, it seems a whole lot less complicated.
