The King Cash Saver in Springfield, Missouri is now open for those of you that are in the area. I had a chance to stop in earlier this week and found they had quite a few good deals. You can view the King Cash Saver Weekly Ad HERE. If you are wondering how King Cash Saver works, everything is priced at their “cost” plus an extra 10% is added at checkout. So, for example, they have toothpaste priced at $1.00, it would be $1.10 at checkout plus tax. They do accept manufacturer’s coupons, they redeem them at face value (no double coupons). No shopper’s card or membership is required to shop at King Cash Saver.

Here are a few of the best King Cash Saver deals for their first week that stood out to me (through 9/22): My favorite buy that I picked up were 4 cent limes. I cannot remember the last time I picked up limes at that price, woot! I was impressed with how fresh all of their produce was too when I stopped in. I picked up some Golden Delicious Apples that were some of the best apples I have had in a long time.
Note: Add 10% to each item.
Limes – $0.04
Pink Lady, Golden Delicious or Gala Apples – $0.67 lb
Cantaloupe – $0.91 each
Whole Fresh Dole Pineapple – $0.91 each
Fresh Seedless Grapes – $1.05 lb
Oscar Mayer Bologna or Cotto Salami 16 oz – $0.90

My husband & I stopped in there to check it out this week, and it’s not too bad. Not sure where my savings will work out better though at this new store or Price Cutter which is quite close to where I live. Maybe I can score deals at both depending on what I need. I still miss the old Dillons though. lol! I was impressed with the produce though. I’ve been enjoying fresh lemonade this week. 🙂

I really hope they continue with good produce and overall prices. I’ve gone to the CashSavers in Ozark and it’s pretty bad produce and meat there. Their prices also don’t really save me anything.
