Walgreens’ sales this week were pretty so-so in my opinion and what I did want, they didn’t have in stock. I had a couple Register Rewards that needed to be used this week, so I decided to just stock up on things I would normally buy anyway. One of the things I like about Walgreens is they regularly price items on sale that I frequently use and they often have the best prices around. One great example, I have a new Walgreens that opened late last fall and they have had eggs on sale ever since they opened for $.79 a Dozen. That is hands-down the best price in my entire area. I’ve been comparing prices and in the last week, eggs at Walmart were $1.28 and $1.49 at Aldi. So, thanks Walgreens!
- 2 Oscar Mayer Bacon 16 oz. $2.50 ea (This was a pleasant surprise, in the ad it said BOGO @ $5.99, so they should have been $3.00 ea, but this store had them on sale at an even better price!)
- 3 Geisha Canned Mushrooms $.50 ea
- Walgreens Bleach 96 oz. $.99 (This is the cheapest price I have ever come across for bleach. And bleach is one of those items I rarely, if ever, see coupons for)
- Brawny Paper Towels 8 pk. $9.79 (I have to say, I am not a Brawny user, I have pretty much gone back and forth between Viva & Bounty and stuck with those 2 brands. But I discovered that Brawny is offering a Money Back Guarantee on their site HERE so I was willing to try them out. You can buy them, try them and if you’re not completely satisfied, you can get your money back.)
- Used $17.00 in previous RRs
- Final Cost $.48
