Here are my recent shopping trips from my outing yesterday. I headed out to run a few errands and stopped in at Aldi, Price Cutter and Walgreens. When I get out, I prefer getting as many things done in as little trips as possible. Not only does it save precious time, but it also saves money on gas as well. And those darn gas prices can add up fast, especially since it is around $3.80 a gallon right now. Bleh! Anyway, here is what I picked up:
Aldi
- Head Lettuce – $0.69
- Green Bell Peppers 3 ct – $1.49 (I was especially happy with this purchase, their bell peppers were huge on this trip! I sliced 2 of them up as soon as I got home and they were so good!)
- 2 Strawberries 1 lb containers – $0.99 each

- Oat Bran Bread 20 oz – $1.29

- Adventuridge Rechargeable Camping Lantern – $9.99 (Pictured below. I was really happy to get this, I didn’t have a rechargeable lantern like this one, I liked that it can also be charged with a car charger.)

- Flat Iron Steak (just under 1 lb), Marked down to $1.67 (Love those Price Cutter meat markdowns!)
- Smart Chicken Legs (about 3 1/2 lbs), Marked down to $3.66.
- 4 Libby’s Naturals Green Beans – $0.59 each, Used previous $1/4 ip
