My deals here is a great example of how a Raincheck can come in handy! Back when the Accu-Check Aviva Meters were on sale for $9.99, they were out of stock at one of the stores I went to. So, I asked the manager for a Raincheck for 2 of them. In this week’s ad, they were $14.99 and with a $5.00 Register Reward with purchase. They were still out of stock earlier in the week, but yesterday they had them, yay! I’m normally not into multiple transactions, so I asked the manager if it was ok to do 2 transactions so that I could get a RR for each meter and he said that was fine. Thanks!

Ok, I couldn’t resist another trip to Walgreens this week. The Chips deal was just TOO good to pass up, especially with Super Bowl tomorrow! 🙂

I love when Dillons has their Mix & Match Sales, there are usually some really great deals. This week was even better than last week, so I was very happy with my latest trip! All prices are after the Mix & Match sale (Buy 10, get $5.00 off).

There are several things I really like about Aldi stores. The lines are always very fast, they are so efficient there! And I don’t have to mess with coupons. Don’t get me wrong, I dearly LOVE my coupons, but it’s nice to take a break on occasion and leave the coupons behind. I also love their produce, I live in a smaller town and we don’t have a ton of choices for fresh produce and Aldi often has the best deals. Today is a good example of that.

Dillons is having one of their Mega Mix & Match Sales this week, with a few really awesome deals! And those Kraft Printable Coupons could not have come available at a better time! I’ll probably try and make one more trip this week, we’ll see!

Ok,I just didn’t need much this week, so this was a very short Walgreens trip. I’ll definitely be getting more next week, as it looks like a pretty good week for sales and it’s a brand new month with new Walgreens coupons! Whoo-hoo!
You’ll notice I also have a Cover Girl Simply Ageless Foundation in the picture I did this because I wanted to point out a great policy they have regarding their cosmetics. When I purchased the foundation, I wasn’t sure about the color and the cashier at the Cosmetics Counter told me to try it and if I didn’t like it, I could come back and exchange it for a different color. As it turns out, I tried it a couple times and decided the color didn’t work for me. So, I took it in and got the right color. Call me one happy customer! That’s the first time I ever exchanged makeup like that and it was a nice, hassle-free transaction, I didn’t even need my receipt. Thanks Walgreens!

I ventured to 2 different Walgreens today, I’m glad I did, as both stores were a bit different.

This week, once again, I didn’t do hardly any shopping. I ended up with a stack of Register Rewards that all expired on the same day and I hadn’t been to Walgreens in awhile because I’d been sick for days. Finally not contagious and feeling partially human 😉 I was able to make it to Walgreens yesterday. They were wiped out of so many things, so I just concentrated on spending the Register Rewards I had and getting back to the comfort of my warm home and my snuggly throw. I ended up not quite spending all my RRs, so I had 2 transactions. The store I went to recently opened up, so they had a couple Grand Opening Specials which was very nice!
