So, I don’t go to Price Cutter very often even though there are a couple of things I really like about them. The Price Cutter closest to me is very picky about coupon usage and I always have to check my receipt carefully for price mistakes. It’s strange, because with the store farther away from me, I don’t have any of these problems. The prices always come up correct at the register and they are fine with coupons. So, not sure what’s up with that?!

  • Black Angus Ground Chuck $1.69 lb., $7.37 (they have really good quality meats, especially their beef)
  • 3 packs of Smart Chicken $3.03. $3.89 & $3.51, they each had $2.00/1 Store coupons on them, and I also used 3 $1.00/1 mfg. coupons from HERE
  • 2 Lays Chips $1.69 ea., Used $1.00/2 tearpad coupon
  • Prairie Farms Milk 2% Gallon $2.66
  • Crab Classic $1.69, Used $1.00/1 coupon from HERE
  • Final Cost $15.23

I haven’t been going to Target very often. We only have one Target in my area and it’s a bit out of my way, and the last few times I’ve been they’ve been fairly picky about coupon usage. My trip earleir this week though was a nice, easy problem-free transaction.

  • 8 SoBes $1.00 ea., Used 4 BOGO coupons & 8 $0.50/1 Target coupons
  • 4 Olay Regenerist Cleansers $6.24 ea., Used 2 BOGO coupons & 2 $5.00/1 coupons from home mailer, will use this as part of the $10 off $30 rebate HERE
  • 2 Ritz Crackerfuls $2.54 ea., Used 2 FREE coupons from home mailer
  • 2 Kool-aid Fun Fizz Drops $1.94 ea., Used 2 FREE coupons from home mailer
  • Final Cost $2.48 & I used a Target Gift Card from a previous deal, so no OOP! And I’ll be submitting for the $10.00 rebate above, so this deal will end up being a moneymaker! 🙂

So, I haven’t done a whole lot of shopping lately and I’ve been keeping it to pretty short trips. This 100-plus degree weather just hasn’t been very motivating for me. 😉 Anyway, I got in a short trip today, I plan to make a few more short trips to Dillons this week since there’s so many great deals this week. Here’s what I picked up today (note: all prices are after the Mega Event Sale wyb 8=$0.50 off each item):

  • 27 Bumble Bee Albacore Tuna Pouches $0.49, Used 27 $0.55/1 blinkie coupons (doubled to $1.00)
  • 5 Kraft Cheese Chunks 16 oz., $2.79 ea., Used 2 $1.00/2 blinkie coupons and Got back $5.00 Catalina (catalina deal runs through 8/15)
  • 2 Beef Roasts BOGO $9.93 for both
  • Final Cost $11.72 and got back a $5.00 Catalina

So, one of my favorite Walgreens coupons is the “Friends & Family” 15% off discount. This isn’t a coupon they release very often, so I was very happy when the did so this week while there were several good deals. I went when I knew one of my favorite coupon-friendly cashiers was working and I also went early in the day when I knew it wouldn’t be so busy and so I was able to do a few transactions at the same time (yay!). Note: All the prices below are after the 15% discount was taken off.

So, I went to Dillons today hoping they had restocked, but that just wasn’t the case. They were totally wiped out of several things I had intended to get. But I am by no means complaining, I still walked away with some great deals. I’ll be headed back Monday to see if I can get a few more bargains. 🙂

So, I don’t know about you guys, but it seems like the last several times I’ve gone to Target, I’ve run into coupon issues. Have any of you experienced that? It would just be nice if there was like one big nationawide coupon class, or even if one store chain (like Target) trained all of their employees exactly the same way so we could all be on the same page, it would just be so much easier for everyone involved, Target, their employees and shoppers alike! Anyway, just my two cents. 😉

  • 10 Sobe 20 oz. $1.00 ea., Used 5 BOGO coupons from HERE and 10 $0.50 Target coupon from HERE (The cashier told me I could only use 5 of the Target coupons since I had used 5 BOGO coupons and I very nicely explained that the $0.50 coupons were Target coupons, not manufacturer’s coupons so he should be able to take them and he just kind of blinked at me. I was getting ready to explain further and whip out my coupon policy if needed and the lady behind me in the line spoke up and said to him “I’d go ahead and take those coupons, she looks like she know’s what she’s talking about,” at which point he proceeded to take all the coupons. I thanked her for her help and was laughing all the way to my car, gotta love the extra help!)

  • 2 Johnson & Johnson mini First-Aid Kits (in the trial size section) $0.99 ea., Used $3.00/2 coupon from HERE (now, the cashier didn’t blink twice about this coupon and pushed it on through)
