Anyone in Joplin able to get any of these deals at Walgreens this week? I went to all 3 stores Sunday morning and all the stores were wiped out already and we went at 9 am. I was just trying to get one or two and there were none to be found.
Fritzie says
I was in Neosho earlier on Sunday visiting family & the store there was already wiped out. I stopped in at the Walgreens on Main Street Sunday evening & the only thing I was able to find were the Maxi Pads. One of the cashiers at the one on Main Street seemed to think they would get more stock in later this week, so you might check back.

At my Walgreens I had trouble with the Up 2 U gum that was supposed to be free. I ended up having to pay $1 for 4 packs which is still a good deal, but not free. The manager told me since I was using a “coupon” in the ad that was making it .99, I couldn’t use the other $1 off Walgreens coupon, even though he said he went ahead and used it, but I still owed $. I tried to explain to him that the .99 wasn’t really an actual coupon, just the sale price, therefore enabling me to still be able to use a Wags coupon and a man. coupon, but he said that wasn’t correct. However, there have been many other times in this same situation I have had no problems. Was I correct or was he? THanks!
Fritzie says
Hi Jennifer, you can use both a manufacturer’s coupon & a store coupon together. Hand the mfg. coupon over first before the store coupon, that should avoid a beeping register. You might want to print their coupon policy & take it with you next time in case an issue like that comes up again (link at top of post).

Thanks Fritzie. Do you know what day they get their shipments in?
Jennifer – which store was that at? You should have been able to use all of the coupons according to their policy. Their policy states “Applicable Walgreen coupon(s)” However I have had problems like that in the past.
Fritzie says
Hi Sherri, if I remember correctly, they said they get their big shipment in on Friday (the one on Main St. anyway). I’d call ahead & ask though to be sure, I’ve been kinda forgetful this week. 😉 And their truck schedule changes every time there is a holiday.
